I have a 748. What's the deal can I get away with the reg Motul($5qt) or is the synthetic Motul($14qt) really going to add that much life to my engine. Can I run car synthetic like Mobil 1? Right now I run convetional Motul 20/50 and change every 2000 miles. Is that enough?

I prefer conventional. I Run silkolene. Once I tried the synthetic version, and had 2 problems. #1 it would begin to boil on hot days especially in traffic. #2 I change my oils at 1500- 2000 miles the synthetic just looked to be more burnt at change time. The bike was a Kawasaki ZR7s. Its an an air cooled bike with a oil cooler.
