Hi all,
new on this forum, this is my 1991 supersport.
I actually owned this one from new; when early 1991 the first pics appeared in the magazines this "nuda" looked so gorgeous I rushed to Startwin (a well-known Ducati shop here in the Netherlands) to order one without seeing it in the flesh!
It's only mildly modified: Bos slip-on silencers with tangentiale headers; Dynojet carb-kit; SL seat; Hyperpro competition rear-shock; 916 brake and clutch pumps.
The front brakes are the latest mod: Brembo P4 34/34 calipers and wave-rotors.
I've kept all the original parts, so it can always be rebuild to standard.
In the pipeline are a pair of oval Leovince silencers and a set of Ducati-ST USD-forks.......
LOL, My 8 year old nephew actually suggested this pose! He thinks my bike is an evil monster trying to kill me! ( I think his over protective mother put that in his head)

Thankfully my brothers wife has never put idea's like that in the nephews heads. But every year I come home she asks "what the heck have you gotten into now?!" lol first the Army then VW's and racing them then motorcycles now in the Navy flying! And they go shooting with me! She's going to kill me when she finds out I willed it all to them! (ironic eh) Its good being the CRAZY uncle in the family.

The craziest uncle is always the most fun and remembered when he's gone! I have willed my M5 to him! Hopefully I can keep it running so he can enjoy it when he learns to drive! (hopefully there will gas left!)

I keep searching for some 900SP forks but I can't find any. I look and I look and still, nothing. When I find some I will put them on. I'm trying to stick with true 900SS forks here, not from another model. I don't want to have to swap everything on the front end. I'm good with my CycleCat triple and stock axle and brake mounts and such, I just want a true swap out part, like adjustable 900SP forks. I even have some nice STM red billet faucet style preload adjusters just waiting for the day.
I think my ‘93 SS has the dreaded frame crack. It’s really subtle though. I was really hoping to avoid this. Now I wonder how long it has been there. I’ve had the bike since 2001. My question, for those who have experienced this... is this a drop what you’re doing and fix this immediately kind...

Im new to this, I have a 97 Ducati 900ss sp, Had it running , now it wont start, no click nothing, even when u put a jump box on it, anyone have any ideas, i was thinking starter or solenoid?
I was under the tank tonight getting ready for my FCR swap. When I went to start the bike, it made only one click, and didn't turn over at all. After some inspection, I noticed that I had knocked the plug to the coil loose (see picture, not my bike but same plug). I plugged it back in, and...
Dear all:
After a few years of storage I decided to get my low-mileage, almost-brand-new looking 1999 750SS out for a ride. First it didn't start and I noticed the fuel pump was not priming...so I changed the pump/filter and lines in the tank. I took it out for a ride and it worked great (or so...
