i've been looking at the st3 engine lately and it looks to be almost plug and play.would make a great project.if i had the cash .the parts woud be in the basement now.the biggest problemi see is rad location .my clasic mono has one of those small batteries next to the rectifier.the space where the battery box.used to be now becomes the location of a one off rad that curves up toward the seat .i know the heat under the seat would be uncomfotable but its a start .without serious cash outlay you could have some good hp and still a classic look all without stressing the motor. the 3 valve engine is reliable
and for a little engine modding you could see 120 hp at the crank.now woud'nt that be fun. if i remember stock the engie is 107 or 110 hp
