I'm finding myself strangely attracted to a low mileage (<3000) 2010 1198s. The asking price is 9k, but it needs tires and a belt replacement. It seems to be stock.

I've never owned a Ducati superbike, but this bike is exerting a strange pull on me. If you want to tell me that it's likely to be a huge disappointment to me, and that I should just stick to my BMW's and KTMs, then that would make life simpler...

If, on the other hand, this seems like a fair price for a classic that is really fun to ride, then I'd appreciate the input!

That is just pulled from NADA in my zip code it may be a little more or less depending on where you live. It at least gives you a starting point

Almost all of the ones for sale are in excellent conditions and low mileage. I see them between $8k and $9k
