Geez, I just had mine in my hand yesterday here at work. [I was cleaning them...the gear shop next door has an ultrasonic parts washer] Now they are sitting home on my bench, waiting for me to re-grease them.

I'll have to look at one for the bearing number tonight, if you can wait that long. all I can remember right now, is they are SKF. Let me know.

The tapered roller bearing #'s will not be anything like a std. roller bearing #, it falls into a completely different catagory.

If your bearings are indeed shot, I would look closely at the races.

If you buy them from ducati, I believe you have to buy the set [bearing and race]

I used to use powersportpro's partsfiche for pricing [but I don't buy anything from them, as they are complete idiots]...but since ducati closed their US warehouse, the prices seem to have gone up.

powersports has them listed at $40 bucks per....but I'd be willing to bet it's closer to $50. I would check with your local dealer. Check to make sure the races are included, I couldn't find a separate part# for them.

the #'s etched on the bearing are: SKF 639174 GERMANY-S W25 T

I went to a few bearing websites [including SKF], and coundn't get a match on the part #'s

personally, I'd get them from the dealer. you could spend more time than it's worth hunting for them.
