Thanks for the update!
Anyone know if Arrow is also working on a system?
Anyone know if Arrow is also working on a system?
I E-Mailed both Arrow and Akrapovic about a month ago and both stated they were working on them. Arrow seemed to be further along and said to check back in a month of so for more information.DucatiGal said:Anyone know if Arrow is also working on a system?
Awesome! Thanks, please let us know if you hear anything, especially from Arrow. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with. I have Arrow slip ons on my '95 SP and like 'em a lot. Part of the draw, I guess, is that they're Italian pipes. Just seems fitting...DuckRyder said:I E-Mailed both Arrow and Akrapovic about a month ago and both stated they were working on them. I will try to do that tomorrow.
I agree they are usually nice pipes.DucatiGal said:Awesome! Thanks, please let us know if you hear anything, especially from Arrow....
Cool! Thanks!DuckRyder said:I agree they are usually nice pipes.
Arrow said current ETA on additional information is about mid April, they said they would let me know when they had more information.
No additional information from Akrapovic or Leo Vince yet.
The fit and finish looks very nice but those things are almost as big as the stock pipes!DuckRyder said:Best looking so far to my eye... Polished stainless...![]()
Yep, one of the things I like...geospencer said:The fit and finish looks very nice but those things are almost as big as the stock pipes!![]()
Well, your'e right. They DO look nice. And I'll bet they will sound great.DuckRyder said:Yep, one of the things I like...
Ditto.... I wanted something less obtrusive (visually speaking). The 2 -into- 1 system lets the swing arm stand out and doesn't visually "overload" the right side of the bike. The staintune system seems, from the images I have seen, to be about the same size as the OEM system. I like that they tucked the front header pipe under the motor. From my own experience I know that the headers will age a wonderful shade of gold. My headers and 2 -into- 1 coupler are professionally polished and are a thing of beauty. I am still holding off on polishing the muffler itself. IMHO this bike can only support so many shinny bits.....geospencer said:Well, your'e right. They DO look nice. I just like the smaller Termi pipes because - to me - the smaller pipes look more "retro".
That's the nice thing about the Sport Classic bikes - they are going to lend themselves to "individualization" more than other Ducs.
Be sure and post pictures when you get them!
Yep, make it look like this ......Reducs said:........Conti replicas, so, why couldn't they just put those on SC headers and call it a day? I think that would be the look we're all thinking would be right. Right?
I saw these and was wondering if they might fit a GT1000. I can't sleep just imagining riding that bike with some rumble to it....Reducs said:On their website they show Conti replicas, so, why couldn't they just put those on SC headers and call it a day? I always knew I appreciated my fellow riders from Texas! God-bless you brother, if they would build a system like that 750ss, I'd ride on down just to shake yer hand and buy you a Barbequed cow dinner!Mhe225 said:Yep, make it look like this ......
