Bought a 1999 ST4 in December. Mint! Can't wait to get out on a nice long ride. Anyway, I'm looking for a shop manual. There's one on eBay for 2001 ST4. Is the difference in the model years minor enough that the 2001 book will work? Are there other sources where I could find the 1999 version? Haven't found it yet.

Get thee a Ducati Designs headlight if the bike did not come with one. What color is it?
Bike is red. Checked out the Ducati Designs article in webBikeWorld and the ducatidesigns.com site. Nice looking and functional - what more could you ask for. While pricey, definately something I'll put on the list. Thanks for the reference.

ST4s Manual

isn't there a shop manual available to down load on the web for the ST4s????
I sent an email to www.duc.nu awhile back asking that very question and they replied that they were trying to obtain one and to check back periodically, but I haven't seen it yet. Hard copy versions show up periodically on eBay, though.

05 ST Supplement

or any Ducati dealer can order them for about twice the price listed in the link above. I would suggest picking up a copy of LT Synder's book as well.
Be aware that the ST3 05 manual is only a supplement to the larger 04 manual which has all the information you need. The big change to the 05 being the wet clutch. The 04 manual costs about $150+

I also agree with Sperho on the LT Snyder book, makes a great compliment.
