Hi

I just bought a 2004 ST3, and will do most of my own maintenance, so was going to invest in the TechnoResearch scan tool to reset the service light etc.
The say that the ST3 has a Magneti Marelli IAW 5AM ECU. The shop manual that I bought says an IAW 59M.
When I look on mine I don't see those markings at all. I see 2214EDPR (EU) and 48JGSPWAD

Can anyone help me make sense of this?

thanks

David

I think 5AM is correct. Can't get to my ST3 until Monday to double check if you need me to. I can plug in my copy of VDST.

Yep its a 5am. Went through that trying to get a replacement for my st4s (59m) and a few people with ST3 were willing to let me try their old computer but... different model unfortunately.

VDSTS is a cool tool, just make sure to read the warnings about connecting it to power/ground properly and you should be fine.
