A little back story. Bought a used 2005 monster 800 s2r which I thought was a really good deal only to keep finding more things wrong with it. Lesson learned I guess but now in the process of fixing it up. Anyway I come to find out that I have a bent fork and am in need of replacing it. So as most of us 800 s2r owners know the suspension is not good by any means. I found a set of st2 adjustable fork that I was thinking of picking up. After looking around I'm pretty sure they will drop right in. But seeing if anyone else had done this before. I tried to find a set of s2r 1000 forks but they are more rare and more expensive. Figured these st2 forks would drop right in and not have to bore out and shim to fit or replace my triple or will even let me bolt my calipers right on.

here is a link to a great reference on ducati fork sizing.
