Hello everyone, I recently bought a 1998 ST2 from someone who left it sitting for a couple years. this bike had a dead battery and a crapped up fuel system from sitting. I replaced the battery and fuel filters and cleaned the system out. Eventually it would not turn over. I replaced the starter and but the problem was the relay after all.
But then the bike also had the tachometer go crazy over 2k rpms which was affected by the lights, I changed the timing sensor but it didn't help. when I unplugged the regulator from this it works just fine,
So I need a new regulator I think from the tachometer issue, but the bike also misfires and generally feels like it's Bogging down at 6k rpm, and won't go further.
Can anyone help diagnose this issue, I've put new plugs in as well to no avail. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I assume that's because you didn't get a reply. Very eloquent. Perhaps you would have done better posting it in the ST section. Did you try over there? No, you did not.
