I know about ZG. In my google searches, I didn't see much else. What are good sources for windscreens? Thanks!

OEM. A company called MRA has ST screens, although I have no idea if they are any good. Puig are supposed to be good, but I've tried one on my 916 and the plastic wasn't optically clear, as in it was wavy / distorted. Not sure if they make an ST fitment. The cheap Chinese knock-offs on eBay. There are probably others but there is a reason ZG comes up more often, they are great screens.

I've bounced back and forth between ZG and OEM. The ZG SR model is perfect for me and what's on the bike now. For OEM, I have a Ducati Performance "low" screen that I like. It has a lower, rounder upper edge compared to the standard OEM screen. Hard to ind though. There is also a tall / touring version of the OEM screen if you can find one.

It's hard to go wrong with OEM or ZG for fit and function, but I don't know what you're after for a screen.

The previous owner of my ST drilled two holes in the OEM windscreen so that he could mount his radar detector. I got tired of looking at the holes and replaced it with a ZG model that is identical to the OEM shape. Great product. If you're looking to modify the air flow, Laminar Lip makes an acrylic piece that mounts to the fairing and fits over the windscreen. Changes the wind pattern a little. The PO also had one of these...I took it off mainly for looks and partially my gorilla arms puts my helmet in clean air with the OEM screen.

I have this screen. See pic. Came with the bike. I don't get clean air. Ideally I'd like to have 2 .... one that is shorter than this one (the ZG SR may be the answer), and a taller option for colder riding seasons.

My Chinese knock is still going strong. It does surprise, but I could not resist the price.

Have a good one.

I have a laminar lip for my ST4s and it's the perfect amount of wind modification for me. During the summer I keep it off unless I'm doing a long trip as I prefer lots of air on me. In the winter or during long interstate stints I'll pop it on and I'm always surprised how well it works for me. I actually love my ST oem screen / laminar lip combo way more than my Multi screen. Zero buffeting, clean air all the time and the laminar lip lets me choose whether I want air on my chest or air just on the top of my helmet.

Thanks! Do you have the brand Laminar, or some other?

I have the actual laminar brand. Not sure if it's some specific model as it was on the bike when I bought it.

Not unless you cut one down. I had a damaged one that I cut right at the top of the fairing. It was the smoothest airflow that I have had with the ST. A bit of extra wind load though. Not bad for touring. I just got extra wet.

Have a good one.

The ZG SR isn't shorter than OEM, but the upper profile is rounder. It looks sportier from the riding position and does a better job with placing the air flow where i want it, on my chest. One thing I didn't like about the standard OEM screen is the squared off corners. Looked boxy and put the wind at my shoulders.

The OEM Ducati Performance low screen splits the difference between the standard OEM and the ZG SR. Good screen, but I will probably keep the ZG on for the foreseeable future.

Here's the screen that came on my bike. It's the exact size and shape of the ZG SR for the ST. This has a rubber seal/flange around the top edge, and the markings are: DOT-626 M4 00 AS6
Any idea who makes this? I googled it and what popped is Multistrada 1200.

Sorry, but I have no idea about the new gen STs.

If there is a DoT mark, it might be OEM?

Have a good one.

When I bought my ST, the PO had put on a taller ZG touring screen (the one in my avatar). I hated it. Wind buffeting was right in my face. I bought one of the cheap ebay ones and it's been great. Way thicker than I expected it to be. Holes needed a little bit of adjusting, but that was easy enough. It is currently the stock height (supposedly) and I would like it a little lower. Been thinking of cutting it down about an inch to get the wind buffeting just a little lower.

The Touring ZG could be available for sale if you're interested. :grin2:

I am looking for one taller than the sport touring. The sport touring is only about 2-2.5” longer than SR. Not a big difference. Like you, I know it would throw air right in the middle of my face. Maybe the answer is the sport touring model plus one of the add on extensions. My current setup is a SR that I had cut down a few inches.

I’d like to find a screen probably 9” longer than the ZG sport touring. There are very limited options available.
