Will these front forks slide right in, what I have worked out that they should, and even the brake will fit? These are showa adjustable's to go on a 2005 S2R800.

Thanks

they will slide in and everything will fit, but the
supersport i.e. forks are somewhat longer, as
these bikes carry their clip-ons above the upper
tripple clamp.
they are 2 or 4 cm longer, not sure right now.

Thanks Muschi, have 50mm (5 cm) of room before the tops would hit the bars, guess it could be a good excuse to go clip on's. I will check the length with guy selling them.

Cheers

I have a set of '99-'01 900SS Showas, soon to be mounted on my 2003 M800. These forks are much longer than the stock ones, over 2" longer from memory (sorry, I'm 1200 miles away from the bike.) They hit the handlebars on my bike, and I've bought clip-ons (Swatt) to accommodate.

if memory serves me right, it is 74cm for the
supersport i.e. forks, 72cm for the supersport
carb forks, and 70cm for the monster forks,
not too much of a difference.
could be that they hit the handlebar of course,
clip-ons for me please.

:)
