Sprocket question…

Going to add a Ducabike sprocket carrier, nuts & axle nut to dress up the left side. Are there any options for a black sprocket that is not a quick change? I like the one set of nuts on the OEM style.

Guess I should replace the Cush drives as well. Bike has 12,000 miles on it.

Try Supersprox. They have 5 holes rear sprocket in black that is not quick-change. It’s still similar to those quick change in that the center is made from aluminum to reduce weights and the teeth is steel.

AEM makes a quick change setup with 1 set of nuts for the cush drive. They are pretty pricey at $400+.
Why not a quick change? You can get the JT carrier (reputable brand but happens to be sold on Amazon as well) in black or silver for $75 plus a steel Super light sprocket from sprocket center.com for $55. All in for a light weight quick change under $150. Might even be able to get the steel Super light sprocket cheaper from one of the ebay stores. I have about 20k miles on this very set up.

I like the look of just one set of nuts & not worried about weight. So vane👍🏼
So I took your advice Tim and went JT quick change sprocket & carrier in black…$122 all in. Will add the Ducabike sprocket flange, axle nut, sprocket nuts, & clip.

Now do I get OEM cushdrives or poly?

14 years and 90k miles and mine are still ok, why you want to change that?

They feel
Like they have some play but I suppose they are supposed to? They are original & bike has 12,000 miles.

Get OEM. Google what the poly bushings have been doing to street Ducati 's. There are a bunch of complaints.

Nope, not supposed to have some play. If you can rotate those bushings, take all the nuts out and re-tighten them with new Loctite.

There should be side to side play with the sprocket. Not alot but some. It is a "floating" design to keep everything from binding. Rocking play is bad. The indicates the bushing on the carrier is bad and needs replaced. Some bikes have more side to side play than others depending on age of the rubbers but as long as it's side to side play on the sprocket and not rocking play you are good.
