Im going to sepang for moto gp. I think they were great! organise everything and very reasonable prices.
It cost me and my wife , $1900 each. thats for,

air fares
4 nights at 5 star hotel ( accross from track and were all teams and riders stay)
breakfast daily
grandstand tickets
pit walks
satuday night GP party with all food and piss suppied
all transfers

so, basiclly , you just turn up at the airport and they take over!

sorry, but the package im on is sold out. I think they still have a package for $1600, but the hotel is nearlly 2 hrs from the track

Pete, if you are thinking about using them for IOM TT, they were bloody expensive.
On the IOM web page there is a forum, & within that there is an accommodation section. Put out you needs & you will get responses.
We (4 of us) got a house last minute when other free accommodation fell through, for roughly 33 pounds per night & she loaned us her car for the price of insurance, 30 pounds for 9 days. So I reckon we did well.
Flights you should be able to get under $2500 return

It's the expenses on the Isle of Man that get you, I reckon I spent 100 pounds a day on grog & food lol

Give me a call if you like

Gday Craig..

Your not wrong about sportsnet being expensive!! After the quote I politely declined.. I have scored accom in Douglas for a few days during raceweek, and have the VIP bullshit package to the Creg naa baa for a day.. The wife is coming now so we'll be tripping around the UK for a week or two either before or after the TT...
haven't booked flights yet..waiting for the earlybird prices to come out in a few weeks...

Thanks for the info... Are you heading to PI this year? Im not sure yet..

Lol. We pretty much got our accommodation the same way (but I think through the tourism site) back in '96 when we were there! We hadn't realised that you needed to book accommodation at least a year in advance. But we got lucky big time - the place we scored was on the road that feeds directly up from the Douglas promenade up to the course, and comes out on the top of Bray hill just after the start straight. The Kiwi sidecar guys were just up the road from us (I knew a few/most of them), and we were pretty much directly under the fireworks display. Easy stumbling distance to all the pubs and entertainment! Utter fluke! :D It was "Here's some accommodation that someone's cancelled out of. Do you want it?" YEAH! Thanks!

England is EXPENSIVE for food etc. Even back in '96 - a 100 pounds worth in the shopping trolley was less than $100 worth in NZ (and in those days, the GBP was about 2.75 to the NZ$). BUT - the IOM TT is SO worth going to! At least once! It's not known as the 'Mecca' of motorcycle racing for nothing.
