Do y'all think we'll see vendors or Ducati create half fairings for the Sport1000?

use the smart one
Some have been made and are different from the Smart. More original 70's style. Bracketry is being finished on a demo bike. I have a red fairing on hold. Waiting to see the final product and hardware on the demo bike.

John
can you share your resources on who is offering the fairings?

the only lead i have had is with the imola project peeps in australia.

i'd love to see some vendors in the US.

i've been taking close looks at OEM set ups on the new PS and original classic ducs with fairings.

there is a set i noted which looks like it would work with a fork mounted head lamp.

it was on this duc:

hot cool would that be! :)

some mounts would need to be welded or modified on the sport1000 steering tube to fit the new OEM PS style fairing.

a 70's version aftermarket fairing would be very welcome on my sport 1000! :D

Can't say more but it will use the stock headlight assembly and move it forward on a fixed mount. Can be returned to stock at a later date. Your image is the style of fairing this will be except it has been tailored for the wide points of the stock tank and approriate size for the new bikes.

be sure to share pics and vendor if eventually available to the public. i'll be first in line to get a black fairing and mount set up for my sport 1000.

awesome... I'd like the ability to switch it back and forth as my mood changed... not quickly, but in an afternoon...
any updates? pics? ;)

your bike is going to look hot with that fairing.
