I have heard that SIL Moto are now making their spaghetti headers for the 1000ss.

I was speaking, via email, with Rudiger at Kaemna Ducati and he told me the part number 69999177K03 for these headers.

I phone Spareshack in the UK, who import Daniele Moto in to the UK, and they confirmed that 1000ss spaghetti headers are now available form SIL.

Ducati Kaemna quoted me EUR799 and Spareshack GBP685 - which works out about exactly right on the exchange rate.

just ordered Moto - thanks for the heads up on that one. I last tried the 900ss headers and they did not fit - perhaps the ones shipped were pre 99?
That's possible. They are not marked very well from the factory.
If these do not fit- no problem on the return.

Just heard back from Matt at Motowheels - he checked with Sil-Moto and the headers will not fit the 800ss.

That is a real buzz-kill

So, does that mean the headers and slips ons from a 1999+ 900ss are no swappable to the 800ss?

Ed said he ordered some 91-98 headers.

If you need one, let him know at [email protected] and he will set aside one or write up an invoice for you to make sure you get one.
Not me but some others. Will forward your response. Thanks!

Wonder if Termi would see that these are still in demand and do a run of them :D

custom stepped spaghetti header for SS1000DS anyone ?

if anybody here is interested in a beautifully custom made,
stainless stepped header spaghetti 2 in 2 Exhaust system
for the SS1000DS, they should let me know.

a british forum member made me order one at a friends place,
and is not willing to take it now - i feel ashamed not to take it from
my friend, as i had ordered it and he has bought the materials already.
It might be even almost finished already, what the hell do i know as i
got let hanging with that for quite some time now.

it will be a perfect made 45-48-52mm stepped header system,
with lasered header brackets and lambda plugs etc.

choice of cans is still free, as the link pipes of the system have not
been finished yet, as they will not use the standard 45mm connection.

estimated price ot the header pipes is 550 Euros ( a steal ),
i could provide upsweep Termi carbon racing cans for an
additional 220 Euros if needed.

System is a proven performer, and produced 98 hp and 104Nm
of torque on a otherwise total stock SS1000DS. ( respected Dyno
of a local Ducati dealer wiht +20 years experience )

thanks for your interest, please PN if you want to take over the
order for that system.
no pics available at this time, i promise you won't be disappointed.

cheers. :)

for a short moment, just for a short moment, i thought i should
get it myself, but i should better not so.

 ;)

no i have not sold them yet.
i got either my own 2 in 1 stepped header system for sale, for 300 Euros,
or you can get the steppd header 2 in 2 that has not been finished yet,
as the guy who had ordered it sort of disappeared.
we would need your end cans though, and their connection tube must
have a minimum diameter of 48mm outside.
they will be reworked to fit the 2 in 2 spaghetti system then.

cheers.

( stock SS 1000 DS has 98hp / 104 Nm with open air-box and
mentioned 2 in 2 stepped header spaghetti system, build quility
is outstanding, it is not pretty much light weight though )

( diameter should be 42 - 45 - 48 outside, unlike mentioned above )

would love to see those pictures, Muschi.

I am considering, working on my welding skills and trying this too.

Do you have any pictures of the 2 into 1, system? sounds like a interesting plan.

I know its not a common, liking on here, but I am some what keen to go that route as well?

What's the consensus, on effects on torque and alike?

Not very knowledgeable on this subject.

Is that 1000ds still stock?
