Hi Hypermotard Team, I would be grateful to be informed about a reliable source. K Tech says they don't know the original spring specs. Racetech does not answer. Wilbers nothing. Where i can find some softer spring than original?

I think hyperpro has the rates listed but no spring. Traxxon has spring.

I felt the front was harsh on my 08 S and assumed a light spring rate was needed but it was the opposite. I went stiffer rate and lighter fork oil. It's better, also I weigh 160lb.

There's more good info top of the hyper thread (sticky), something about fork fix .....

i would agree, they're usually too soft. lots of the non sbk ducati have springs in the range of 0.6kg/mm for the initial 1/2 - 3/4 travel at least. if you spring it more like a road bike - 0.90 ish - you'll end up with a lot less movement and dive, which is against the whole motard stereotype, but much more realistic.

Traxxion did my 08 HyperS and it is fantastic. I'd expect they can help you with your needs.
