I have the aluminum MotoMFG wheel nut socket and it works great. I have neveer seen any wear or damage to it and I have used it quite a bit. I remove the wheel to clean it so it has seen a lot of use.

Ducati 41mm/46mm wheel nut socket

I have the MotoMFG front wheel socket, alignment tool and drift also. All are great tools and the cost isn't too bad considering how few they actually sell. The aluminum socket for front axle is particularly nice. I could use a standard socket but it's pretty thin and I was worried about damaging it. The Moto socket kind of encapsulates it.

Also, they are a site sponsor and give a discount to members. I didn't know that when I bought all my tools but it will save you 10% if I remember correctly

The MotoMFG socket has the 41mm and 46mm in one tool so it's $19 per size. Not much more than the $15 1 13/16th socket and it's one tool instead of two to keep track of.
