That bike was listed last month from Wisconsin. He also had a vin# with it. this one doesn't. There's at least 2 Ducati scams listed right now.

I'm really sick of these scams. I was in the market for a 999 a few years back and came across a dozen of these scams over the internet, traders, and classifieds. Don't be reeled in with these 'to good to be true deals'. 99.9% of the time they are scammers. .1% they are misprints.

Maybe, just maybe it could be some pissed off ex-girlfriend/ex-wife that holds the title.

I read a article a few years ago where that happened. A guy was going through the classified and came across a newer Porsche 911 and it had a price of a buck. The guy called on it thinking it was a misprint or scam. Well he was the first caller. The guy explained he was going through a divorce and the court ordered him to sell various items and split the sales 50/50 with his ex-wife. He was so bitter that he was seriously selling the 911 for a buck and the guy got a 911 free and clear with title in hand for a buck. The greatest part is the seller's wife got 50 cents on a $50k 911.

So yeah I am always looking for a deal like that also!

WOW! Nice way to come up. I'd feel a little guilty buying it off the guy for a buck. I'd have to buy the guy a twelve-pack or a lap dance. Then I wouldn't feel so bad.
