My 2009 848 will have Traction Control, Quick Shift, EFI w/autotune...

I have given up my baby for 3 weeks in order for this to happen...

I'll post info soon as I get it...like Dyno numbers...

It sounds like you just invested in some Microtek goodies. Over the winter I will swap out my Nemsis for the Microtek and work on adding TC to my 999R. I am just about to add the Bazzaz system to my R6, another TC unit. I can't wait to just rip the throttle open all of the way just to hear the TC working

Well, I'm sure the manufacturer wants a lot of feedback from you and maybe others about their products on your bike. Obviously, this is secret stuff so the details will remain so until market launch I assume.

FWIW, you can buy an 848R from the factory. It's $40k, has magnesium wheels, full system, CF tail(like the 1098R), and some other bits associated with the big R. No mods whatsoever in the motor department though. Hmmm, not quite the R you would expect, but it would be titled as an R.

For the track that would be cool but if you are pushing it that hard on

There is no secret... Microtec has a new ECU that will do traction control, it just came out a few months back and they've been working on the module for it and I'm pretty sure its done now.

Ohh and an 848S or an 848R would surely have hotter cam's... so unless someone builds them for ya... umm, there ain't no 848S or R sadly. Ya can't put Ohlins and TC on an 848 and call it an R sadly, there is a tiny bit more that goes into it.

I don't think that this is hard to figure out. He's in cali, bazazz is in cali. and they say that they have all of this coming soon. Hmmmmmmmmmm. If he were in georgia or somewhere close to georgia I would agree on the microtec thing. And for everyone out their it's MICROTEC not microtech or microtek totally different companies..

Bazzazzazzazz seem to have a good following and it'll be great to see how their product for the Ducatis stack up against what's out there now (DP, Nemesis/Microtec). Be greater still if they make something for the older bikes using that ECU type like the 749/999.

One day to install the hardware and 3 weeks minus 1 day to "test" the cr*p out of your bike. All for a few hundred $ in hardware?.....I wouldn't.
That could just be me though. lol

They told me they will go over everything that's going to happen to my bike...and not one day to put on hardware...they have to test Org. cans and org. air and then aftermarket air with aftermarket slip-on...

stuff like that...

everything will be documented...contract will be signed...
