I've got another rear fender on order for my 98. I was a bit suprised that Ducati still had them lying around. $20.

I was planning on hacking it up and leaving just enough to mount the license plate and some signals. Or retro fitting a chop kit from a new bike, and simply keeping the inner part of the fender to protect the area under the seat.

Thoughts, ideas and photos of your solutions would be most appreciated.

here is a pic of mine
I kept the original plastic and just chopped it down and made a metal bracket for the plate
indicators bolts through sides of plastic looks heaps better than stock

i just posted the same pic in supersport pics but u can see the undertail here really good. It still kept the under seat storage too
give you a good idea if you decide to chop up ur one
