A battery tender on a timer. A sage in the ST section (stick) recommended trying a light timer on the tender. After a few months of this, the voltmeter shows that my standard battery has higher and more consistent voltages when only being tender for about 4hrs a day. I believe that full time tending cooks the batteries, however gentle it might be.

In the winter, riding in the 20s (F), I'm not ready to experiment with these new batteries just yet.

Have a good one.

21ah here on a 1098. Fits the battery box fine with the supplied foam, starts flawlessly with Motolectric leads kit.
Thought I would bring this thread back with a question...Is the Motolectric kit a wothwile thign to do ? Just ordered a Shorai for my 1098 and thinking about one of their kits.
