Very close, the shade is a bit lighter on the DP I would say. I like the ST carbon fiber better personally.

Shift-Tech gets a lot of their carbon from Lieb-Speed in Germany. It's thin and very light, and fits exactly. I won't buy from anyone else.

DP carbon is made mainly for racing without worrying as much about the finish, most of the times is dull and full of pinholes, Shift-tech carbon is a 10 on the finish too, they both use the plain weave cloth with the difference that not only S.T. is cheaper but also perfect all around IMHO.

My dp carbon lost its sine and is yellow now..the finish was great though...

All the parts i got from shift tech are top quality too and the price and after sales comunication is just unbeatable....

Some holes on the parts were not 100% were they should be but that caused no real problem...

I would not think that's a German product in that case. I know the belly pan they had on their 1268 was a German piece for sure.
