Just starting to have shifting problems on Saturday, false neutrals and
and 2nd to 1st down shifts are a big problem 90% of the time this weekend.
Just refuses to drop into first even at a stand still at times .....
Ideas on which side to open first ?

I'd start by bleeding the clutch, you might have a leaking clutch slave cylinder.

Make sure the shift lever is properly adjusted for your foot and leg. I had the same problem after I bought my 04-ST4s which was solved by adjusting the shift lever.

She has GP shift set up so no adjusting there, going to drain the oil
and see what's in it. With any luck it'll be clean(ish).
If not I'll pull the left side and check out the shift paw.

Try the bleed, esp the clutch master, before you go and dig out cover pullers. Air collects up there quite easily.

Have a good one.
