Does anyone have a service bulletin/ instructions on how to replace the oil pan?

Mine is starting to get scratches so I want to replace it and also install the oil pan guard.

My bike is winterized and stored so I am attaching a picture I found on the interwebs for illustration.

Would that be covered on warranty? How old is your bike and how many miles. I cant believe that is normal. I remember reading a thread on a UK site about this and the owner got Ducati to replace the part.

Not leaking, but it's bothering me and I'd like to prep for the day it does.

I don't believe this is covered by warranty as it's chip damage. It's very common, that's why a guard was built for it.

I would clean it and use some automotive chip guard paint (what is the correct term in English?) and then the correct golden paint on top of that. Bit of a miracle if the warranty covers that. In that case the oil pan would be replaced every year.
