So, I was at the motorcycle show the other day and spoke to the Sena rep about their current lineup and the teething pains they had with the 30K mesh network when it was first released. He admitted that they had issues with the technology, but that the latest firmware update addresses these things.

I went on to say that I already own a 20S Evo and that I probably wouldn't be upgrading for a little while when he showed me a new product that will be released in a few months. It's a piggyback unit that you pair with which will then enable you to have the mesh network functionality. He said it's going to retail for about $150. I didn't ask him all the models that are compatible with it, but it's something to think about if you have something other than the 30K and want mesh. Who knows? You might be able to extend the useful life of your old model for a few more years.

We recently had Jessica's 20S take a poo and the battery life on mine is starting to diminish so we picked up a pair of 30K units. I like them so far but we have not tried the mesh.
