You betcha!

It took two weeks.

Sanding primering, three coats of red, three coats of white, and SEVEN coats of clearcoat.

But she does shine!

I also made my own custom seat for the montail.

I have to wait a bit, I want the clearcoat to cure before I mount it.

I will post up as soon as I get it all on.

Woo Hoo!

I may ride slow, but I look freaking good!

That is nice. My advice:

1. Post pics when done.

2. Sell the yellow crap on eBay.

3. Prepare to get lots of action when cruising about town on that beauty.

4. Don't buy yellow again. We forgive you, but will never forget. :p

For all of you with yellow bikes... don't mind me and just take the pain.

7 coats of clear, what are you using? The PPG/Omni stuff I use says to use only 2-3 coats, and paint supplier also warned about not using more than 3 coats.

Looks good.

Nah

I did super thin coats.
With sanding between.

That keeps the mils low on the coating...

I have to point out that it's your Sophia that looks good. In fact she looks "stunning" but as for yourself, well that's another forum topic ;-)

Well

I pulled off all the tape.
She is really shiney!

And by the way, I did a lacquer finish for the extra shine.

I figure, yeah it may chip more, but I can always touch it up!

Freaking cool!

Very sharp! What do the cops say when they see your registration, assuming you get pulled over? Do they get bent out shape or do they roll their eyes when the 27 photos of Sophia in all her glory unfold from your wallet? Just curious, I had a trooper give me some grief over the blue on white paint scheme, the registration just says blue. I shrugged and said it's the way it came from the factory. He told me to get it fixed, it still says blue, three years later.

I don't know.

I haven't been pulled over (knock on wood).
I think here they just want to make sure you have insurance....

Anyone know in TX?
