I know how excited I was a few weeks ago when I got mine, so I know exactly how you are feeling.

Congrats on the find and purchase, now get out there and explore the country on that sweet ride.

Nice looking bike – for me the stock look on such a rare bike has to be correct. I’ve only owned mine a few weeks, but I’m delighted to have what basically is a retro look motorcycle but with up to date performance. Once you’ve got the 14T and Fatduc fitted, you might want to consider making it sound more like a Ducati. I bought a pair of Keihan Conti replicas which suit the “period” look very well - and in UK at least they are not expensive. Man, they are LOUD though….

I'm in the same position. Just got my GT1000 a couple of weeks ago. Bone Stock and only 1800km on it.

If you don't mond me asking, how much were the Keihans?

Nice, rgrigutis. The black w/ chrome fenders looks real sharp. Is it the touring model without the windshield? By the way, $7500 for a pretty low mileage GT is a pretty good deal IMO. They've been gaining in value the last 12-18 months, and getting tougher to find. You probably would've easily paid another $1000 if you'd waited another year - assuming you could find one.

Congrats, and enjoy!

Didn't come w/ windshield.

Drove it around the subdivision plateless. He's a lot different from the nortons he rests next to in the garage. This morning noticed some sort of foul smelling fluid under all 3 bikes likely marking their spots heehee. Waiting for the growling at each other to start
