Sorry that you have to let her go. I hope she went to a good home. Is the buyer on the forum? Anyway, stay safe and thanks for walking the fence.

It is a base 2006 sport
4 things are different

Tank is the black and gold paint job
Rear seat cover is the Black and gold paint job
the Front mudguard is the black and gold paint job
and
Last but not least a numbered plaque with double stick tape

So
If you want a SE but do not care about the numbered plaque
I can still get the Tank, Seat cover and front fender in the Black and gold
and you can make a SE Replica

What's different in the SE model? Ohlins?

since the SE's were the "late" Sport 1000 and considered MY 2007, I wonder if the headlights were still the good metal/glass or the latest plastic version?

#4 made its way to PNW. Living in Seattle.
Mostly stock. Nice.
Even has the side-reflectors. I can sell you a carbon canister if you want to put that back on. :)
Seriously, crate it and leave it alone for 20 years. You'll be able to pay for retirement. Or at least a few trips to Italy.
Also, hide your booze better. I can see it in the picture. :)

Interesting to know even an unmodified one has that weird "S" curve in the battery (-) cable near the open triangle in the frame.
There's really no good place to hide it.

Here is a bit of jewelry for the SE
Alternator cover
Black and silver

Gold and Silver

I wonder if doing the SE Production number on this would be cool for a super duper extreme custom edition?

I realize they are very, very, hard to find.

Someone must own to many ducati's or you might be going through a divorce, just had a new kid no time to ride, kids college/university funds. etc.

A fair price considering the heavily depreciated loonie. I definitely wouldn't sell mine for anything less than that either :grin2:

Looks like #022 just showed up on eBay. It has a bent frame and needs a lot of work (was rear ended) but just might be salvageable. So far the bidding is at $510 with 6 days left. Might make a good project for someone.

Non Op with title...Much bucks for most.

I would make sure that it is a real SE and not a o6 with a SE top triple
Yes, it needs a lot of things done to it. I have no idea if it is a real SE but I can see cracked engine case, bent frame, paint,
wheels are scratched, seat, etc..etc... adding up quick. Should make the price of all the other SE's go up just a little

Frame will be nearly $1700 with repair and paint
new Frame is $2900

The swing arm is probably bent too

I can still get the Tank and seat cover but they are probaly getting ready to discontinue

Can be done

You are basically paying for the VIN and the Little tiny plaqu with the number on it
The rest looks pretty messed up.
The tank and seat cover is hard to find
I can still get them but when they arrive there are flaws in the gold striping so you have to keep sending it back for another.
It can take months to get a good nearly flawless tank or seat cover.

The rest is hard labor.
I can get the frame done and to normal bjt it would nee dto be repainted

This is a ground up restoration and I hole who ever gets it has time and money

Wow.. Just saw this.
It's over $4k..

Is it worth it? what's so special with the SE?
