So I got back from a nice ride to the store last night and I notice that my right side passenger peg is missing.

Looks like it just fell off, because the pin was still barely sticking out of the top. Has this happened to anybody else?

Also, anybody have a peg lying around that they want to sell?

Yes, this happened to me in June and it was my right passenger peg as well.

If your bike is still under warranty make the dealer/DNA replace it for free.

I had the same thing almost happen to me. The cir-clip had come off the pin that holds the footpeg. After that, I always kept an eye on the cir-clips, but didn't see the problem again.

(I've since changed my exhaust hangers and footpegs, so don't have to worry about it any more.)

Yeah. Those little c clips just can't handle the L-twin vibes. Whenever I've removed pegs I noticed how loose they fit, so always squish them with pliers before reinstalling, for a snug fit. Maybe a dab of silicone would be good preventative medicine?

Maybe use a clevis w/ cotter pin...hrmm...
