Not many of us buy a street fighter with the intention to mount bags. It can be used that way but it's not really that kind of bike.

Maybe a multistrada is a better choice for you?

But personally I think the SF would make an excellent tourer.

it seems the ogio uses straps and givi has locking mechanism.

does the ogio straps rub against the paint.

do the givi bags lock in nice and tight against the tubular mounting brackets without shaking on the bike when you go over bumps and such.

thanx

In all honesty the straps for the OGIO saddlebags did touch the paint. If you are too picky about that, even though it doesnt really do any damage, I wouldnt recommend them. However the GIVI bracket does work wonders.

I have a cortech tail bag that expands, uses bungees and holds a ton... easy on and off and stays on the bike (even without the bungees, I forgot to strap it down once early in the morning and it stayed on all the way down the highway, from my house to work)
