Is there an aftermarket footpeg available with a knurled surface to replace the stock footpegs on a S4RS? Rearsets are a bit out of my price range at this time, the the stock pegs are too small (short). I can't find them anywhere.

steve, i haven't tried this, but you might be able to swap the front and rear pegs. the rear pegs are about 1/2" longer. just went out and looked at mine, it might work.

Thanks, that might work. It seems someone must make a replacement that has a knurled surface.

They do not fit - I measured the rear pegs with a caliper and it's wider then the front peg.

I recently installed a set of Oberon race pegs ($45 shipped from the UK):

I'm very very happy with them - night and day difference.

MotoWheels also carries them.

I had the touring model of Oberons and loved them!
