I'm about to change the cam belts on my 2007 S4RS 998cc Monster.
I purchased a workshop manual, but it doesn't state where the timing marks are for aligning the camshafts!!!!!!
It mentions the special tools for holding the crankshaft & camshaft from rotating, and mentions to align the driveshaft pulley with the timing mark on the outer roller to align with a mark on the clutch cover.
But there is no mention of aligning up the camshaft pulleys with any fixed engine marking.
Surely there must be something that aligns the pulleys or how do I know I've got the belt timing correct?
Answers would be much appreciated.
