Why do the stainless pipes on my full Termi look like they are going rusty? All my mates stainless systems still look nice and new!!
Best way to try and clean?

Oh dear.....Termi are a bit of a let-down. Probably the most expensive...and for sure not the best build quality. There are a few threads, 'which exhaist should I buy?', I guess the answer is looking like NOT TERMI !! I will get the ScotchPads out and start rubbing...at the bits I can get to. Thanks.

Powder Coating

OK...what's the deal on powder coating?
Colour? Titanium bike....so guess it has to be black. (Any other ideas...pink maybe!!)

I guess they have to mask off the threaded bosses?

How about the 'slip in' bits...does the powder coat make them too big to 'slip in'? Do I need to make sure they mask off the ends of the pipe that 'slip in'?

What about the flanges that bolt to the head? Is it ok to powder coat those?

All info to help me avoid pitfalls (which seem to be everywhere!!) much appreciated.

There seems to be a few powder coat companies here in Kuala Lumpur...I'll take a trip next week and visit a few.
Good though I think I am at many things...colour co-ordination is not one of my best things...so I guess it will be boring black....then the difficult decisison...matte or gloss! (So hard!!). Nick

Just for general info...a bit of reasearch and yes...as Tiduc says....standard powder coating is not recommended for exhaust headers....needs to be one of the 'ceramic' coats....and sadly here in Malaysia...it seems one can only get ceramic in black! So my idea of a gold front pipe to match the Ohlins is out the window! (Probably just as well as my 'colour sense' leaves a lot to be desired!!)
