ok... that would be really fun... i was reading the other day that Schwantz still feels a calling to Motogp... he talked about wanting his own team some day. when asked about WSBK or the US. series... he stated that if the offer was really nice, maybe WSBK... but no way in hell he would bother with the american series...Nah.. He''ll go to Suzuki Prove AGAIN it's him and not just the bike.
There must have been a reason he was talking to Schwantz the other weekend.
I heard that right now he is talking about possibly doing a moto2 team with an unnamed partner. It would be an in to the team owner position, but the cost for a full on GP effort are staggering thanks to the four strokes, so he would need some serious sponsorship to move into the premier class.ok... that would be really fun... i was reading the other day that Schwantz still feels a calling to Motogp... he talked about wanting his own team some day. when asked about WSBK or the US. series... he stated that if the offer was really nice, maybe WSBK... but no way in hell he would bother with the american series...
so... perhaps Schwantz gets his own MotoGP team for suzuki... and his rider is Rossi... now that would be fun..
Oh, for sure Burgess is critical to any move, especially in the current era of very little testing time.i agree.... the thing is... i think Rossi would need to bring Burgess... and the Ducati engineers would have to be open minded to his input.
i believe him to be the key element... Jeremy is the man... and Rossi wouldn't have turned the Yamaha around without him... Burgess is as important as Rossi to me....

No... Ducati won a Championship in 07, and if Casey hadnt fallen apart would be in the running this year for the title as well. So obviously the Ducati is a worth bike. When Rossi took over at Yamaha they were in trouble much like Suzuki is nowWouldn't he be able to do the exact same thing by making the move to Ducati and winning with it? Actually i say even more so.
Nope, but Eddie Lawson won races on three different brands of 500's...... i don't know if a rider has ever won championships on three different bikes in the premier class....
