Hi all,

I have joined here as I am researching my next bike. I love Motards which are actually not that popular here in Canada. Most of the bikes on the streets here are cruisers and sport bikes, which makes the Motards that much more appealing to me.

I am currently riding a 2007 Suzuki DRZ 400 SM. For my next bike I want something that has more power, fuel injection and a 6th gear as I do a lot of highway riding. Every time I start researching bikes I always end up back at the Hypermotard 796. So that being said I likely won't be posting much if at all, but I will be reading everything I can on the 796 before I drop the cash on one.

I am also into snowmobiles and have a 2009 Yamaha Nytro RTX SE with about $5500 in mods to it.

I look forward to hanging out here and maybe posting a pic of a new Ducati Motard someday soon.

Welcome Mike, lots of good info on here, one thing you hear a lot in the Hyper forum is that you are a giant sail when traveling on Highway.. Very upright position is great around town and in city but for long fast stretches of road you catch it all.

Thanks man. Yeah I hear ya, I'm on a Sumo now so I'm used to being out in the wind.
