Rocks around rear shock/height adjuster mount

Just wondering what people have done to try and stop rocks from collecting around their rear shock mount/height adjuster area on the swingarm.

I seem to be forever trying to get rocks/pebbles etc out from this area. I'm sure they don't do your shock/height adjuster joints much good.

Has anyone got a hugger, and if so, has that stopped the collection of pebbles?

I suspect that it doesn't.

On my 996 the hugger has been invaluable in protecting the rear shock from rock strikes and keep rocks and debris from accumulating underneath the rear exhaust pipe op top of the engine cases. It also stops rocks from building up in the small gap between the swingarm and the cases.
