Congratulations Larry and Ducati! Too bad the race isn't same day coverage, but soon it will be again. Like it or not the new DMG rules certainly have brought the field a bit closer together.

If you go to Pegram's FaceBook he has a post race interview of each race. I found it thru his website: Pergram/Foremost Racing.....pretty cool stuff. Interviews w/ his mechanics, close up's of his bikes.:D

Congrads to Larry for finally getting his first Superbike race win since 1999!

Probably next year in November...

We'll just have to wait and see.

LOL :p
SPEED CHANNEL is going to televise same day coverage for AMA.....when? soon...I forget the date. I've been sending them Email after Email about this issue, It seems everybody else has too! It had to happen, the present scheduling televising AMA races two-three weeks after they ran is ridiculous. Less Ralphie, more racin'!:D

It wasn't the emails, it was the shit ratings that got it cancelled.

Yep. It's always about the money. It's too bad, I'd love to have seen a weekly show and same day event coverage.

Good for Larry but seriously would anybody care if Mladin won for what, the 900th time? Boring. Small time. This should at least generate some buzz.

That is definitely will. Mix it in with Josh's win and it looks like other bikes might have a chance.

Thats fantastic, now Ducati has a bike that can compete. Put Hodgson back on it with full factory support. Shame he and Bostrom had to ride the underpowered 999s a few years back. However, come to think of it Pegram's victory was in the wet, when Hodgson won his only time in AMA on a Ducati, it was at the same track in the wet. Pegram did it in the dry.

According to the TV directory, AMA Road America is on the Speed Channel tonight at 7:00PM, here on the Best Coast.

I believe these are going to be the Saturday races from Road America. For the Sunday events - including Pegram's win - I think we'll have to wait until next week...

(But watch anyway, just in case...)

Your right, what we want is likely two weeks out? Why in that case even have "spoiler" written on the thread. Damn Speed TV or whoever controls the broadcasts.

Because somebody will pitch a friggen fit if it ain't there. Trust me. Not because of common sense, mind you, but because of "principal".

So that's how we roll.

I know, I was just being sarcastic Chuck.

My DVR recorded an earlier race then. Which race was it where Mladin took it and Pegram came in 4th? Wasn't that Road Atlanta? It was a mostly wet race and Larry got out to a good start, but fell back because I think his tires gave up?

Now that Pegram has some bragging rights, I'll go up to him and shake his hand. I've run into him several times and only spoke to him once. I feel like a groupie, because he was at the hotel suite where Stoner and Milandri showed up for an autograph/picture session at Laguna. He was standing around like me and that was a perfect opportunity for me to engage in some conversation, but I didn't. I had an invite there by Ducati being a Club President. Now that Larry has recorded this important victory he will have more than enough attention at these events, due to the fact what he did was hugh for Ducati. Congrats Larry for hanging in there with the bikes, didn't do too bad on the 749R/848 either.
