Guys,
in order to try and save myself a few bucks Im going to try and do most of the desmo service myself ie oil screen, oil filter, change brake fluid, clutch fluid,etc In fact everything other than doing the desmo (dont wanna touch that)

I was looking about in youtube this morning and came across this method of changing the brake fluid....

would this work on an abs equipped bike ??

Exactly how I did mine last year. With ABs the only difference is that you should ride it , activate abs, and do another flush, and once again for good measure. That will circulate out the very small amt of old fluid in the abs system that won't necessarily get flushed first time. The chain will be warmed up so you can clean that at the same time

My rear is starting to go soft now, but I have travelled over 10,000k since I last bled - pretty good in my books. Previously the rear was failing very quickly so i have drawn my own conclusions
