Hello all,

Any recommendations on resistor wires, caps and spark plugs? Never needed before on my Carby SS but now I'm installing Motogadget's M-unit Blue. They recommend resistors to cut down on interference with the computer inside the unit.

I thought you didn’t need both resistor plugs and resistor caps ?

Well the reason to install the resistor components is the munit I'm installing has a microprocessor inside it. It's a digital control and fuse box for the electrical system.

I did read that no resistor caps/plugs has caused "burping" - backfiring through the carbs on our bikes. And I actually am experiencing that though only on starting when cold. It might burp once. I do not know if this is because I have my A/F ratio wrong though as I'm also dialing in the jetting with new Remus pipes and no airbox. After installing the resistor components I'll report if the burping goes away.
