Replancing clip-on with handlebar ¿which yoke to use? ST3

If you search this forum you will come accross a few that have done it...

Yet using the word "cheap" does not compute, or maybe you are allowing extra funds for all the new (longer) cables you will need to buy for your budget, which should exceed the cost of a upper triple, oh yeah special handlebars and handlebar mounts will add $$$ to the conversion.....

Not to mention cutting the fairing so you can have full turning of the bars..

Could be a pandora's box....

So, its no 696 but 620? ok, prices are lower...

i've seen a conversion kit on ebay, but I found it a bit expensive Superbike Lenker Umbau - Kit DUCATI ST 3 | eBay
and dont know if it fits with abs lines.

I have the handlebar so the only thing I want is the yoke.
The only thing I don like is cutting the fairing. ¿is it the only way?

So this topic has been treted before? I'll do a better search...

Yes the 620 fits. also the M900.
They probably all fit, apart from the newer style like the 696 but I'm not sure.

Don't cut it then, I know I wouldn't.
You'll just have to make sure you have bars that end up further back towards you, and also adjust the steering stops so the bars don't hit the fairing.
A bit of a compromise perhaps, but many people have done it successfully without cutting the fairing, so I'm sure you'll figure it out.
