Does anyone know if it's possible to order individual components of the side cases? I broke the retracting slider part of the rear tab that locks the case in position. The part itself has a teeny Ducati logo and what appears to be a part number...

... but I'm not having luck finding it. Anyone have any ideas?

Since I seem to love talking to myself, here's the answer. The part was 69812312A but has been superseded by 69812313A. Part of the problem is that I initially misread the tiny number, part is because the search engines hate the periods that separate the digits, and part because it's called a "Fork, Left" for some reason.

Yup. I understand the new part is reinforced, maybe even with a metal core.

Mine broke too and was replaced under warranty. Contact your local dealer and have them order it for you.

I just ordered it online. It's a $12 part. Not worth the whole warranty rigmarole.
