Hi,

I'm trying to track down an electrical problem with my bike and thanks to suggestions in another thread I think it's a good move to get a new battery at this point. Does anyone know where I can order a battery online and what the correct specs would be? Would any of these work...

I just found this one as well, which supposedly is for an ST4...

Thanks,
Sean

p.s. I have no dealers within 50 miles of me so I'd really prefer to order things online/mail order.

The first one won't fit under the fairing (if it mounts next to the right side of the engine). The Westco is a drop-in replacement with a reasonable price and specs (if they are accurate).

You could also try a GS Battery GT12B-4. That's what came in my 2002 ST4s and I have had zero issues with it over the last 4+ years and 25,000 miles.

I went with a Yuasa because I was able to order it on the web and I saw on another board an ST4 owner using it successfully. Thanks for the reply.

I also have a V-Max and the Odyssey maint. free battery is touted as the hot set up replacement. I believe they make quite a number of applications and are sold a lot of e-bay.

PC680 Odyssey

I have a 2001 ST4S - Replaced the OEM with an Odyssey PC680. this battery has CCA of 230 - this is hugely more than all others available. This battery is bigger than the OEM but following the comprehensive instructions from the link below, was an absolute piece of cake. did it in about 30 mins.

Trust me - you will not read about a better battery than this, so its worth the time!
