I am in dire need of a new regulator. I have looked and looked and cant seem to find anywhere that hasnt discontinued them or are "currently out of stock".... can anyone help me with this? I have a 98 ST2.

You might post up on groups.yahoo.com/st2_owners. One of the Mad Ones should have one somewhere.

my dealer wanted over $400 for that same rr. if your looking for a plug in then there is only one choice for the 98 st2.

I just replaced mine I was able to get one from Rick's it was around $120. It took a little work to get it in, it is larger than the stock one. I had in in less than a week. Make sure you follow the directions, it does not use the wire for the charging light. But it is working great no problem. It is a universal one.

Maybe more: I was digging for info for a friend on a Yamaha whatever, with RR problems.

Note that for a 1998, 2-wire stator, ya just connect the 2 you have, and leave the 3rd connection open.
