Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is safe amid the pandemic. I am planning to purchase a 2016 1200S Enduro and have a question regarding the side panniers. I do not want to get the bulky aluminium suitcases and wanted to know if I can purchase and install the regular Ducati touring panniers on the side? I saw a thread back in 2016 but, don't think I saw any pics or didn't quite follow the discussion.

Thank you!

I preferred the looks of the regular Touring panniers over the bulky aluminum boxes as well for my 2017 enduro. When I went to order them from the website, they Touring panniers showed up as compatible. My local dealer, however, questioned the purchase, as he did not believe they would fit. As it turned out, the locations to insert the panniers are slightly different on the enduro when compared to the MTS and did not fit when we tried them at the dealership.
I have since put the aluminum panniers on, and love the space and functionality.

Thank you for your response! I had the regular panniers ordered by the dealer and will try it since they are already on their way. Keeping my fingers crossed. I saw some pics posted here of an Enduro with regular panniers.

Also, E-rico helped resend the pics for someone who installed regular panniers on the enduro. Here they are. I will send pics as my dealer is planning to fit the regular panniers to my enduro.

I apologize for the misspelling, I meant E-riko.

Yes they will fit just fine. You may need the extension piece that bolts to the rear foot peg bracket plus the rubber that fits on it
Tamworth, Do you have any pics or specs for the extension piece that bolts to the rear foot peg plus the rubber that fits by any chance? That'll help me provide the details to my dealer if I'm told they can't fit it. Many services specialists are not very knowledgeable about it since it's not a common task they do. Thank you.
