I have a 2008 Hyper 1100s and i had a leak on my fork seals from dirt buildup, i bought the seal mate tool and fixed the leak but now i was wondering how i would check and refill the fluid or if that is even possible without completely disassembling the forks. thank you in advance for the help!

You could unscrew both caps (with the bike supported by anything other than the front wheel!!!) and use a fork oil level tool to compare the one that didn't leak to the one that was leaking. It would have to be leaking pretty bad to make much of a difference, I'd imagine. Or... You could do it the right way and pull them off for an easy oil and seal service. If it hasn't had one since 2008, you're likely due, even when tooling around that tiny island and not seeing many miles.

Lived on Oahu for three years and only managed 10K miles on my old SS, but that was hard to do! On my way home from Pearl, I'd often hit Tantalus Round top just because!
