for the life of me I can't figure out what the redline on this thing is. Not that I plan on running it up there as I'm sure it's high than I want to go, but... No redline indicator on the tach and I can't find a single mention of it anywhere. Can anyone enlighten me to this elusive spec?

The owners manual should shed some light. Don't worry though the limiter won't let you over-rev. My ST4 is 10500 but the tacho is notoriously inaccurate anyway. If I was guessing I'd say St3 probably around 9500.

I think 9500 is correct, but to be honest I'm usually watching the road when I run it up that high. I don't think I've ever actually been looking at the tach when I bump it off the limiter.

@twerth Thank you. And good to know there's a limiter. I re-read the manual again last night and I still was unable to find anything remotely referencing redline or a limiter.
