The carby SS looks great in either color. It may look slightly better in the red but that fact that the yellow is so rare adds to its appeal and pretty much levels the playing field IMO.

RED, everything else is just a Ducati painted the wrong color ! They are an abberration ! Send them to me and I will paint them the proper color. No, I won't send it back. That's your punishment for even wondering about this. But you should feel better just knowing your mistake has been rectified.

I would agree if we're talking about Ferrari's, But my decision (NOT MISTAKE)!! was based on that I was way toooooo impatient in buying my first Duc.
Also the lack of RED or Yellow 600ss available in AUS, (restrictions on Learner license 660cc largest can have & not keen on the Monster)! The yellow was available in good NIK so it was mine...

I love my baby and she does stand out from the crowd! Further more its a Duc it can be green black or blue as long as they have that thumping growling sound that's what matters I reckon!

Yes or no?

And you should of waited for a real red one. Hoisted by your own petard good sir!

Two wheels is two wheels and always better than none. Don't beat yourself up too much, and enjoy the fact you have a Ducati. Don't ever forget though that real Ducatis are red! Only exceptions being original MHRs and SSs.

It could be pink with silver polka dots, if it's an SS, i'd still ride it!

If you want to make it faster, paint it YELLOW!

My painter mixed up a custom blend of yellow and laid on a gold pearl. Reshaped the tank and put down some subtle graphics on the top. It's not common to see a yellow motorcycle, regardless of manufacturer, almost every bike I encounter is black, blue or red. Not every bike can pull off yellow. Yellow has that Pop effect when you look at it. I call my baby Orabella, which means golden beauty in Italian. Everyone else calls it, my parents ignored me yellow. Either way you dice it, you can't go wrong.
