recommendations for a hugger and steering damper for a 02 748

Hi all,

Did a quick search but didn't find much new.

The 748 i picked up is very tidy and clean with 24000 ks so I would like to get a rear hugger to protect the engine shock etc asap.

The stock steering damper is average and id like to replace it later on, ohlins are popular but what about bitubo, toby etc?

Here's the rear hugger that I am using:
MotoWheels 748 Rear Hugger
Fit is correct and the quality is high (no fiberglass, excellent weave, really light):

I'm using a Bitubo damper and like it a lot:
