Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone recognises these plastic mould, stuck on Ducati badges and can give me some more info, I'd be gratefully indebted! I'm looking to source a couple more if possible.

What I do know is that the tank is off a 350 '80's Duc, from Japan I've been told. Currently on a 1983 500SL. Not sure if the Pantah was ever a 350?

Cheers

350XL from 1982-3, as below. The XL was an Italian-market special made to accommodate a domestic market tax break. Less than 1,000 were made according to Ian Falloon.

Best chance for another set of badges will probably be in Italy, or from one of the guys who acquired stock which no-one else wanted at the time of the big clear-out - Ian Gowanloch comes to mind, or Giovanni in Holland.

P.s. Yes, there was also a SL - or 'Pantah', if you prefer - variant.

Hi TR,

You will need to check the size but I believe these were also used on the '83/84 red painted 900s2.
They are incorrectly classified as Mille items but available here.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Ventodue for the images, that's pin point accuracy! 350XL, quite a rare bike then I guess. Like the naked look but a square headlight not sure about. Looks like an SL minus the fairing. Anyone know if the 350 frame is the same as a 500SL, it looks the same to me. I think the PO said he has the 350 fairing too, will have to hit him up, so the tank might be off an 'SL' version.
I need to start reading that Ian Falloon book

Cheers for your info.
